My story

Scooter is a sweet 9 year old senior beagle who was unfortunately surrendered to the shelter with his sibling honey when his owner passed away. His extended family could not keep these sweet babies. They are noted to be house trained and a bonded pair. They sit nicely for treats and take them gently. They would love to spend their golden days in a quiet cozy home instead of this loud shelter environment. Come meet them in kennel 805, his id is 11045. He’s all ready to go home as he’s already neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative! Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
