Carousel (Putnam Green 1 YW Mama)

My story

Carousel Carousel is a laid-back, 5 year old tortie with beautiful black fur with streaks of orange mixed in. She is polydactyl, meaning she has extra toes on her paws. This makes it look like she's always giving a thumbs up! She would be perfect for most households: - Got an apartment or small house? No problem. She's been fostered in one room of a house and is perfectly content. - Got dogs, other cats, or kids? No problem. She has been fostered with all and has gotten along with all of her foster siblings. - Have a quiet home without any other pets? No problem. She really wants human companionship, often staying near her foster mom. But she is also quite chill and not rumble & tumble like her kittens were. She is good with her litterbox, and has not been caught scratching furniture. She loves treats and her morning wet food, and is content snacking on dry food the remainder of the day. She is not picky about her food. Anecdotes from her foster home: "Carousel sits next to my computer chair when I am working. She's a wonderful work-from-home companion. She's currently laying with one paw touching the chair leg looking up at me. Always there, ready for pets and love, but not distracting." "Carousel may be food-motivated, but in the morning when I feed her, she runs over for pets first before returning to eat. #priorities." "Her extra toes are so funny - like she's wearing oven mitts."
