My story

Lola is a dignified woman of a certain age. She enjoys polite conversation, gentle pets, and pretending she doesn’t know what TikTok is. She did not enjoy arriving at the shelter with her long grey coat in complete disarray — matted to the skin, pulling in all the wrong places. Frankly, it was undignified.So yes, she’s shaved. And yes, she’s still beautiful — but please don’t bring it up. She's a lady.Now that she’s free of the tangles (physical and emotional), Lola is calm and affectionate. She’ll blink slowly at you like a queen acknowledging a subject, then lean in for chin scritches with complete trust.Her floof will return. Her grace never left.Adopt Lola.
