My story

Roxy is approximately 1-year-old but still acts like a puppy with lots of kisses, hugs and loves to play a lot! She also has a very calm nature and listens very well. Roxy does amazing in a crate overnight and will always sleep through the night with no issues.  She is super dog friendly with all size dogs. We would recommend going slow when introducing her to new dogs as it does take her some time to trust or get adjusted to new friends, but will be friendly after she is comfortable with her surroundings. While she loves her doggie friends, she is not a fan of cats. She likes to bark at them through the window and they seem to ignite her prey drive.  We have not been able to test her around children but does well around men/women.  Roxy would be great in a home where she can have at least 1 other friend to play with, as she is very active. She likes to go on walks and play with other dogs that she is comfortable with. She is very playful would really thrive with friends. Roxy is very adaptable to new situations and would do great with anyone that shows a lot of love.  She is a digger! She likes to dig under fences or into the dirt but we are working on that as a part of her training and is doing better. She is very good on a leash during walks, very friendly with new people, and likes to jump/hug out of excitement and love. She does need a reminder often to not jump on you (currently in training for that as well and doing great)! We think Roxy might be a Shepherd x Lab mix, but this could be wrong. We base breed guesstimates based off of their physical appearances, as we don't know who mom or dad was. Roxy is currently located in a foster home in Coarsegold, California. Transportation to San Diego is available for interested and approved applicants.  ##2436176##
