Chola De Dah

My story

I’ve been named after the one and only Sister Chola De Dah - De Dah, De - you get the idea! With a name this fabulous, I come with bold personality, a golden-orange coat, and enough charm to fill the Castro Theatre. I believe in dreaming big, napping often, and practicing random acts of kindness (usually in the form of headbutts). Adopt me and let’s start our own little revolution - one purr at a time.To celebrate Pride Month, we have collaborated with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.“I went to my first meeting in March of 2015 and I became a full Sister of Perpetual Indulgence in 2017. My ministry has been working with those who live outside. I also love talking with folks on the street, the clubs and bars.” - Sister CholaThe Sisters were formed in 1979 in San Francisco. Over the last 46 years they have been on the forefront of social and political activism while spreading joy everywhere they go.
