My story

💙 Meet Cleo – Your Tiny Blue Bear! 2-year-old female Blue Heeler approx 30 lbs and available for adoption through PAWS Rescue inc. Cleo is a smart, sensitive girl who’s equal parts couch potato and adventure buddy. She loves learning with a gentle hand and is highly food motivated. Cleo is crate trained, potty trained, and learning to enjoy indoor life. Knows basic cues (“go potty,” “go to bed,” “come,” etc.) Travels well in a kennel Low prey drive – has seen pigs, goats, horses, chickens, cats, and dogs Ideal Home: • Adult-only, preferably female-only • Quiet but active (retired/semi-retired person or couple who loves hiking/outdoors) • Only-dog home preferred, but if another dog in the home, proper intros are necessary. • Breed-savvy adopter with understanding of consent-based handling Cleo is cautious with men and strangers. She’s not aggressive but does not like to be cornered or pushed past her comfort zone — she needs someone who can read her signals and give her space to grow. Cleo is looking for a patient, loving human who sees her potential and will let her shine.
