My story

Hi!! My name is Penny. I am a little over a year old, and I am literally the coolest cat you will ever meet. You should feel special, like you just won the cat lottery – because that’s basically what happened. Here’s a little backstory on me. I had a loving home once, where someone treated me like the Princess that I am. But, one day…I found myself far away from anything that was familiar to me. I wasn’t microchipped or spayed. I had become pregnant and was hungry and found myself crying at people’s doorsteps just begging for someone to let me in. I had to beg for food, beg for attention. I wasn’t used to this, and it was very apparent. These two ladies found me and they not only fed me, but they took me home! They gave me my own room and fed me and gave me a safe place to have my kittens. I don’t think I ever stopped purring the entire time! I had 5 kittens on April 7th. I love my babies fiercely. But after about 10 weeks with them, they told me it was time for them to start looking for their own homes. 3 of them found homes quickly, but Livvie and Tucker (my two minions) stayed with me up until my debut on the “adoption floor”. If you are considering adopting me, (which I really think you should!), maybe check and see if either of my kittens (Livvie and Tucker) are still available as well. While I promise to be the most amazing cat regardless, I would love a chance to stay close with one of my kittens. Also, I have one special final request. The people who found me, took me in, fostered me and my children…The list could go on, but as you can see, they did a lot for me. They wished they could keep me forever, but they already had a full house and they told me they would continue helping cats who found themselves in situations like I did so long as I was able to find my furrever home. If it’s not too much to ask, if you become my furrever parent (you won’t regret it!), would you please text my rescuers and let them know I’m ok? 843-709-2987. They are such worriers! I mean, look at my face, and listen to my purr…Yeahhh, I already have you under my spell. Clearly, they are worried about the wrong thing, here!A few more things about me:? I LOVE catnip toys. They make me act a little silly!? I LOVE attention. I will jump on your lap and demand cuddles? I am tolerable of dogs, depending on the dog of course!? I am good around children, though I haven’t been around small children? My favorite wet food is chicken Pate Fancy Feas
