My story

Hi, I`m Hippo! I`m about 1 year old and weigh about 60 pounds. I have a Behavior Waiver that staff can tell you more about when you come to meet me!Do you like...Dogs? I have been a little awkward meeting other dogs at the shelter. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet me to see if we hit it off!Cats? Unknown. Staff are unsure how I would do with feline friends. Slow, supervised introductions would be necessary for me to live with a cat.Kids? Staff suspect I would do best in a home with kids (10+) because I`m working on some jumpy/mouthy behaviors.Anything else you`d like us to know, Hippo? I am a very loving and sweet guy, I may take a little bit to warm up but once I do, I will show you all the affection you can handle!I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person.
