My story

Hi, I'm Waffles--warm, soft, and best served with love! I'm a 3-year-old, 13 pound gentleman of a cat, and if you're looking for a calm, steady companion, I might be your guy. I'm not the biggest fan of being picked up (I've got some heft to me, after all), but I do love being close to my people. Pet me, sit with me, talk to me--I'm all in for that kind of attention. I'm gentle, mellow, and I get along really well with other cats. I even use to live with kids, and I was cool with that too. Life threw me a curveball when my people moved and left me at animal control, but I never let that change my sweet, kind heart. I'm just looking for a cozy home, a soft spot to lounge, and someone who appreciates a laid-back buddy with a lot of love to give.
