My story
Meet Mya! 🐾 Mya is a gentle and affectionate adult Australian Shepherd with a sweet personality. She loves being around people and comes when called. Mya enjoys pets and attention, and she especially loves a good brushing — which is great, since her beautiful coat will need regular grooming to stay in top shape. Like many Aussies, she may get a little jumpy when she's excited, but it's all part of her happy energy. Mya is a wonderful companion who’s sure to bring warmth and love to the right home. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs 6 months and older if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
