My story

This is June and she is as perfect as she is cute  We're thinking she's a bulldog/pitty mix. Our best guess is that June’s birthday is April 1st 2025 and it’s so fitting because she is such a funny, happy little April fool.  She is a total joy!  Her tail is always wagging as this little girl enjoys every minute of every day.  You couldn’t ask for a happier baby! June is all puppy and loves to play so would do great in a home with another playful dog.  If you're looking for  a mellow puppy June probably isn't the right one but if you're super active and willing to get her the exercise she needs she could do well as an only dog.  And did I mention how much she loves her toys?!?!    Once  June expends some of that puppy energy she becomes quite the cuddle bug and especially loves couch time at night.     She thinks she’s a cat and will curl up on your legs, chest or even head to be close to you.     If you’re looking for a fun, adventurous pup during the day and a lap dog at night, she’s your girl.     She’s doing great with potty training.     You’ll need to bring her out frequently like any other puppy and just tell her to “go potty” and she will.     She’s also doing well with crate training.     Her foster mom has been working on it and as long as she gets significant exercise before you leave her (of course with a good treat to keep her busy for at least the first 15 minutes) she can be left for about an hour and a half at this point.     (Rule of thumb, a puppy can be left in a crate for as many hours as they are months old.) She sleeps through the night but is an early riser ( 5:30am to 6am ).     Her foster mom apologizes in advance as she’s been sleeping in bed with her because she’s just too cute to say no to.     Her foster mom has woken up to find her flat on her back, behind her pillow or curled up on her head  June is all puppy and her foster mom is working on keeping the barking to a minimum and not being so mouthy.     It’s going exceptionally well!!!     She’s a very smart dog. But that being said, she might be a bit much for little kids.     We wouldn’t want her to mistake a finger for a chew toy      Overall, June is perfection!!!  Her foster mom said she wouldn’t be going anywhere if they weren’t already maxed out with three dogs  June will be available for adoption after she’s been spayed and has recovered.  Her appointment is  on July 10th  but we’re on a waiting list to get it done sooner so her new family doesn’t miss out on too many of these amazing puppy moments   Fill out an app at EAPL.com!   Her adoption fee is $375 June 24, 2025, 8:09 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt June avail after 7/10 spay, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
