My story

Meet me at PawSafe, 348 Old Colony Rd, Eastford CT Meet Delilah - a 6-year-old Bernerdoodle who is ready for a new beginning. After years spent in the shadows of a backyard breeding operation, Delilah was pushed aside when she was deemed “no longer useful.” Forgotten, matted to her skin, and one of too many to be cared for, she arrived in rescue unsure of what lay ahead for her. Delilah's learning, little by little, that new adventures are a good thing. She’s still unsure of all the noise and change—but give her a soft voice, a safe corner, and your patience, and her signature Berner sweetness begins to shine. With nourishing meals and gentle care, her coat will flourish again—and so will she. Delilah needs a soft landing with someone who understands that healing takes time. But if you open your heart to her, she'll do the same ten-fold.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt CT Delilah, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
