My story

Say hello to Truffle!She is a 1 year old Lab mix who weighs about 30 pounds. Truffle came from a sad situation where she was living with multiple other dogs and wasn`t being cared for properly. Because of her past, she is very nervous with new people and new situations, so she will take some to trust her new family. Since arriving in our care she has come out of her shell with staff, but she is still very nervous with strangers. She will take some time to adjust to her new home so she would love to have a patient adopter that understands that she will need time to gain confidence. She has lived with dogs in the past, but she is very nervous with new dogs, so she may prefer to be the only dog in her forever home. Due to her shy nature, if there are kids in his forever home she would prefer older teenagers or an adult only home. Truffle is a sweet and sensitive soul who can`t wait to find a family to show her the world isn`t such a scary place.
