My story

Meet Milo🐾 Precious 17-year-old Milo was entrusted to our care through the Final Wish Program on June 20th following the unexpected passing of his mom. She was stricken while preparing to take Milo for a walk, and he was by her side as it happened. Let’s start with the facts: Milo is 17, he’s cute as heck, and he’s mostly here to nap. But every now and then, when the house is quiet and the mood is right… you’ll hear the gentle pitter-patter of tiny paws, turn around, and there he is—his sweet little face looking up at you like, “Hey. Just checking in.” 🥺 Milo is a total vibe. He coexists peacefully with big dogs, little dogs, and cats. He’s not one to seek out attention, but he appreciates soft couch hangs and calm energy. No drama, no reactivity—just occasional commentary in the form of a bark if another dog surprises him mid-nap (honestly, relatable). He doesn’t get up, doesn’t escalate—just lets you know how he feels, then goes back to snoozing. He does share a bed with one of the resident dogs (a submissive sweetie), and that’s gone just fine. Milo’s the kind of dog who would thrive with a calm, respectful dog friend—or as your one and only sleepy sidekick. 🧻 Potty Stuff (real talk):     •    Milo wears belly bands full time in the house.     •    Accidents happen, and he’s not house-trained, but he’s super chill about diaper changes—he’ll stand still like a tiny, polite gentleman. 🛋️ Personality & Routine:     •    98% nap, 2% yard shuffle or quiet wanderings around the house.     •    Not a lap dog—but he’ll lay beside you on the couch like a polite little loaf.     •    Needs supervision if he’s on furniture—vision’s not great, and he can’t safely hop down.     •    He can do stairs (only up) and it’s honestly one of the cutest things you’ll ever see. Those tiny legs! 🥹he does require a lift coming back down safely     •    Okay being carried, but prefers to get around on his own (respect). He’s not needy. He’s not flashy. He’s not going to do tricks or jump into your arms with gratitude. But if your heart melts for the overlooked, the quiet, the seniors with big eyes and small bladders—Milo is your guy. He’s the kind of dog who reminds you to slow down. To soften. To pause your scroll and notice the little face that’s just… there. Still trying. Still sweet. Still worthy of love. Milo is currently in foster care while he continues to settle in. If you’re the kind of person who would move heaven and earth for an old man in a diaper—you’re exactly the kind of person Milo’s been waiting for. 💙 To meet Milo, please email placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Milo Freeman, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
