You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Pandora, a very sweet and affectionate girl who loves to be near her people. Pandora is medium-energy and loves playing with her canine foster siblings. She is gentle with indoor cats and even the domestic outdoor bunnies. She has long, soft fur and is putting on some needed weight. This sweetheart is crate-trained, housebroken and walks well on a leash - the trifecta! She enjoys walks and snuggles. Pandora is happiest with women, but is fearful of men and loud noises, so her perfect home would be a quiet one, and include a woman, or women, perhaps older children and another dog or more to play with. A 5-foot fenced yard would also be amazing, as she enjoys spending time both indoors and outside. When with her favorite people, she craves endless pets, hugs and cuddles! Some more of her favorite things include bones, pig ears, bacon, and cheese! If you are searching for a dog who will love you unconditionally, Pandora is your girl! -Written by M.M. If you call or e-mail you are reducing your chances of adopting this animal as we direct our time and energy to first serving those who apply. NYS Registered Non-Profit Rescue # RR102. National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR) has been rescuing and adopting out Great Pyrenees since 2006. Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. June 20, 2025, 1:59 pm
