My story

Hi, I’m Moody! 🐾I’m a handsome 2-year-old gentleman, weighing about 12 pounds, with soft medium-length white fur, a few distinguished gray patches, and a fluffy gray tail that adds just the right flair to my look. I’ve been an indoor cat my whole life, and let me tell you—I’ve grown quite accustomed to the finer things. 👑 I’m a free spirit who thrives in open spaces and doesn’t like to feel confined. Give me a comfy couch, a cozy window seat, and a bit of independence, and I’ll give you my heart. I’m not one for being scooped up and carried around, but I adore lap time—on my terms, of course! Once I trust you, I’ll hop into your lap and even stand up to gently place my paws on your chest as a polite request for more pets. Pretty cute, huh?I’m also a world-class conversation partner. I love to talk, chirp, and meow my thoughts all day long, especially when you respond—so if you're looking for a little chatterbox who will keep you company, I’m your guy! 🎤😺 I do well with other cats and even get along with dogs, especially calm and respectful ones. I may need a little time to adjust, but once I feel safe, I’m a total love bug. I also pride myself on being very tidy—I’ve never had an accident outside the litterbox, and I keep my space neat and clean. 🧼🪥 I also love being brushed, and I’ll gladly soak up all the affection you have to offer. If you’re looking for a loyal, talkative, Velcro kitty who will curl up in your lap, tell you all about his day, and love you with his whole heart (just not from inside a carrier, please), I might just be your perfect match. 💖I’m neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and recently dewormed—so I’m all set and ready to find my forever home. 📞 Call the shelter at 479-394-5682 to meet me.
