My story

Location: Harrisburg, SD Hello, my name is Valentine and I am a spunky, goofy, cute, cuddly ball of fun! I enjoy playing with my toys, foster brother, and following my foster parents wherever they go. I enjoy a good snuggle and nap after a fun play session. Since I’m still just a little pup my potty and kennel training are a work in progress but my foster parents told me that I’m going pretty well with this overall. I have been sleeping in my kennel at night, during naps, and even eating my meals and playing with toys in there. Sometimes I get worried when I cannot see my foster parents in the room and will cry but I’m getting better at calming myself down. When I need to go outside I get very vocal and wiggly - I’ve only had accidents when I wasn’t immediately taken outside after a nap. I usually go potty right away once I’m outside and after some exploring I will usually poop too! I have not had exposure to cats or children middle school aged or younger. I am learning all about walking on a leash and wearing a harness or collar - since I’m motivated by food this should be something I catch onto quickly along with other basic commands. I’m a pretty curious pup and I enjoy climbing and exploring. I may be small but I’ve got a big personality - I love to talk (especially around mealtime) and I’ve earned the nickname Sweet N’ Sassy! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
