My story

Millie (Amelia) is fostered in Plain City, OH. Meet Miss Millie Bear!  Millie was tossed around at a young age, and finally landed in rescue. Millie is a loving, calm while energetic young (approximately 8 months) and a super smart Aussie! She is a black tri female Australian Shepherd, currently weighing about 40 lbs.   Millie is leash trained, potty trained and crate trained.  Millie's recall is good; she chases a ball and is amazing at catching treatss.  She is very social and an overall perfect Aussie!  All people and other pups arequick friends with Millie, upon meeting.  She has not been cat tested yet.  Millie can play by herself, throwing the ball up, chasing and attacking stuffed toys.  Millie knows how to keep herself amused  Millie is a typical aussie - very Velcro - and she doesn’t wish to be alone.  She does bark a couple times when you leave.  She has been doing fine when her foster parents leave her alone for several hours.  Millie Bear is happiest being next to you, but also stretches out on the floor for comfort.  When she needs to go potty, she is quiet about it - a kiss, a lick, a look out the door - and you know she needs to go outside and stay on her perfect record of zero accidents. Millie is a good puppy.  She does not chew on things; she is learning not to jump, but does lean in for love.  Millie is a TOTAL love bug and will fit nicely into a loving family with slow integration. Millie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms.  Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization.  For more information on our adoption process or to complete an adoption application, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org. NOTE:  All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in.  Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application.  We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family.  MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives.  www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org ##2413885##
