My story

Meet Coast Guard at The Rescue Crew's new cat adoption center - The PURRfect Match, located at 14033 Round Lake Blvd NW in Andover. Ahoy! I’m Coast Guard — your new first mate in fun, friendship, and snack patrol. I’m a 2-year-old black-and-white gentleman who came to The Rescue Crew from a local shelter, and I’ve been sailing smooth ever since. I’m friendly, outgoing, and always ready to greet you with a purr and a head bump — especially if it’s around meal time (my favorite time of day, by the way). I get along well with other friendly cats and haven’t batted an eye when meeting dogs. I’ve got that easygoing, happy-go-lucky attitude that makes me a great fit for just about any home. Whether I’m cruising around the room or anchoring myself next to you for a good cuddle, I’m just happy to be part of the crew. Ready to add a cheerful, charming co-captain to your life? Come meet me at The PURRFECT Match Cat Adoption Center — I’ll be the one keeping an eye on the food bowl and flashing my signature smile. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota.
