From the moment he meets you, Harley is all tail wags. After just a few days of settling in, he’s shown how much he loves to be picked up, held, and showered with affection. He’s happiest in your arms or lap or by your side—he truly lives for being with his people. Don’t let his age fool you—Harley has plenty of pep in his step! He’s happy to go on long walks (2 miles is no problem!) and can even outpace our 2-year-old dog with his playful energy. Harley is currently working on potty training and learning basic commands, and he’s making progress. He gets along well with kids and other dogs, but would also be thrilled to be the center of attention in a loving home. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota.
