My story

Hello, my name is: Cupcake DOB: 6/4/2019Weight: 6.8 lbsSex/Breed: Spayed female MalteseRescued From: Breeding kennelSweet as her namesake, Cupcake is ready for the first day of the rest of her life… as a permanent member of a family. Her foster family has done a great job of introducing her to life as a pet, but she still has a lot to learn. Given her timidness, her ideal home will be on the quiet side. She enjoys human attention when she is feeling brave and is happy to snuggle on your lap. She loves to smile, and her tail wags a mile a minute! House training is going well, and she seems eager to please. Cupcake loves other dogs and is learning a lot from having them around, so we’d love to find her a family with a resident dog to help show her the ropes. A kitty brother or sister would be fine in her book too. She’s a busy girl and on the move unless she is resting in her crate (which is her safe space). Having access to a fenced in yard would be great for her. In time, we have no doubt this little sweetheart will reach her full potential and gain the confidence she needs to be the best companion… all she needs is a chance!
