My story

Today, Hunny is fully healed and thriving. She completed a 5-week professional board and train program and is currently living with a training-focused foster family, where she’s continuing to build on all the wonderful skills she’s learned. Hunny is doing beautifully—she’s eager to keep growing and can’t wait to share her progress with a family of her very own. After surviving on her own in the desert, Hunny did develop valley fever—a common, manageable condition here in Arizona. With simple daily medication, she’s feeling great and living life to the fullest. Nothing slows this girl down. She’s playful, endlessly entertaining, and has a special talent for making her people laugh—whether she’s zooming around the yard, pulling funny faces to grab your attention, or just delighting in the simple joys of being loved. Hunny is spayed, fully vetted, microchipped, and more than ready to find the forever home she’s been waiting for. She’s smart, resilient, and overflowing with love—if you’re looking for a dog with a huge heart, a spark for life, and an irresistible goofy streak, Hunny just might be your perfect match.
