My story

Meet Nala – Your New Best Friend! Nala is a gorgeous 5-year-old calico with a queen bee personality. She has lived with her sibling and other cats and doesn’t mind their company, but she would also be perfectly content as the only cat in her home. At first, Nala may be a bit shy, but once she warms up, she becomes a devoted and affectionate companion. She enjoys lounging during the day but loves being around her family in the afternoons and evenings. Nala shows her affection in the sweetest ways—curling up next to you on the couch, rubbing against your leg at mealtime, and snuggling up at night, purring contentedly as she soaks in your love. She adores laying on her foster moms chest like an adorable kitty scarf. This gentle and loving kitty thrives on companionship and cuddles. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate feline friend, Nala is ready to find her forever home! Nala is currently at our PetSmart location on Woodward. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
