My story

Meet Rex, a young canine resident of our shelter. His energy is a joy to behold, making every day a playful adventure. He weighs 33 pounds and likes agility and running most of all. He`s mellow and curious, a perfect blend of calm and inquisitive. Rex loves cuddling, often seeking a warm lap to snuggle into. Though he can be submissive, his protective instincts shine through, making him a loyal companion. Rex is wonderfully well-behaved around children of all ages, showing a gentle and patient demeanor that makes him a fantastic family pet. When it comes to other dogs, Rex is equally sociable and just a little cautious. Rex is a bit of a chewer and can be jumpy, indicating he needs a little training. But with patience and love, he`ll surely blossom into an even more wonderful pet. He knows the sit command but he`ll need help with leash walking and house training too. If he runs away while off leash, he`ll come back if you call him. He was given up because he was too much responsibility- no fault of his own. Adopt Rex, not just for his charming quirks, but for the unconditional love he`s ready to offer. (tw 6/19/2025)

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rex, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
