My story

Meet Raisin – Your Next Adventure Buddy! Raisin may be the smallest pup in his litter, but don’t let his size fool you—he’s got a heart full of courage and curiosity! Nicknamed Mr. Adventurer, Raisin is always ready to explore, play, and be right in the middle of the action. Fearless and full of energy, he brings joy and excitement wherever he goes. This bright little boy is incredibly smart and a quick learner, making training a fun and rewarding experience. Raisin has a smooth Terrier coat with eye-catching tri-colored markings. He’s especially fond of his stuffy toys, but with teething in full swing, he really loves his tougher chew toys too. Raisin is looking for a forever home with someone who is around during the day to help continue his training and socialization. He’ll thrive in a home with adults or families with children 10 years and older, simply due to his small size and speedy nature. He needs a family that will include him in all aspects of their lives—Raisin doesn’t want to be left behind! If you’re ready for a smart, energetic, and affectionate pup who’s always up for an adventure, Raisin might just be your perfect match. We’re currently taking applications, he will be ready for adoption after July 5th. (An adoption fee of $400 is required.) If you are interested in this dog, please go to the Adopt page of our website where you will find a link to an adoption application form. https://www.chewdogrescue.org/adopt If you have previously submitted an application form to CHEW, there is no need to reapply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations before being placed in their forever homes.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ryder, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
