My story

DiabetesCassady's Birthday: August 13, 2015 Jackson's Birthday: July 25, 2014 Location: Spring Grove, PA Jackson and Cassady are a bonded pair who went through a rough time after their owner passed away due to a long battle with cancer. It's left them longing for a new connection with a person they can bond. They both came to their foster family with only each other to comfort.  Despite the tragedy that befell the pair, they are eager to find a new family who will love them all the more! So what makes these cute couple so great? Well, we'll break it down for you! If there was ever a cat that defied the odds, it is Cassady!  As a runt, she was abandoned by her mother and left to fend for herself.  While she is shy and guarded around new people, once you earn her trust, she is the softest and sweetest cat with the most adorable purr.  Cassady prefers to find "her spot", and when she does, you can likely find her perched there for much of the afternoon.  She is bonded with her brother, and she would likely benefit being adopted with him.  You can often find them cuddling on a chair together, under the bed, or on the 'cat cushion.'  While he can be spunky, she is the calm balance for the tandem!  This soft-furred girl is not fond of being picked up, but she does love coming over to her human and nuzzling them/being petted.   Jackson is an adventurous and loving cat that LOVES attention.  He responds when his current fosters 'meow' for him, and he often comes running for pets.  He is very playful--willing to chase a laser pointer, bat at a wand, or chase crumpled up paper being thrown across the room.  Jackson is bonded with his sister, and he can often be found perched near her as he seemingly looks out for her.  Together, they are the perfect mix of adventure meets calm!  While Jackson does have diabetes, he comes to his owner when it is time for his medication, which has made it a very easy process.  His current foster has a young son that he loves to be near and play with!     Their adoption donation is $90 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter and spay. If you would like more information on them, please contact Chad at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. If you would like to fill out an online application, please visit https://lovingcarecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/  Please note:  LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed.  All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets.If you are interested in adopting this kitty, please fill out the online application at https://alovingcarecatrescue.org/adoptionapplication.html June 19, 2025, 10:23 pm
