My story

Meet Benson!This handsome boy is a bundle of energy and heart. Benson is a strong, playful pup who’s still learning the ropes but shows so much potential with the right guidance. He absolutely lives for a good game of fetch—especially if it includes a splash in the pool! Give him a ball and some water, and he’s one happy guy who can entertain himself for quite a while.Benson is still working on his basic manners (we’re pretty sure “sit” is a foreign concept to him at the moment), and he can be a bit enthusiastic when it comes to treats and leash walking. He’s a strong puller and definitely benefits from someone who can handle his energy.He’s shown polite interest in other dogs—curious but not reactive—and has had a few friendly fence-line greetings. With the right match, he may enjoy a doggy sibling.Benson may be a diamond in the rough, but he’s got a heart of gold. He’s looking for an active, patient home that can help him learn, grow, and, most importantly, play.This handsome guy  has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
