Meet Nyla – A Gentle Soul Looking for ComfortNyla is a sweet, sensitive girl whose quiet presence once brought calm wherever she went. She used to wait patiently on her bed for walks, greeting her people with a soft wag and slipping easily into her leash. But shelter life has taken a toll.Lately, the stress has begun to show—she’s more vocal in her kennel and has become reactive to other dogs on walks. It’s not who she is at her core, just a sign that she’s overwhelmed and needs a break from this noisy, crowded world.With people, Nyla is still incredibly gentle. She walks politely in quiet areas, takes treats delicately, knows “sit,” and seeks connection with those she trusts. Her eyes say it all: she’s still full of love and hope.Nyla is looking for a calm, patient home where she can decompress—ideally as the only pet. She doesn’t need much, just someone who will give her the space and security to feel safe again.If you’re ready to help a good dog rediscover peace, Nyla is waiting for you..She recently met some social dogs at our shelter but she didn`t want to make dog friends here at our shelter.  She may be happiest as an only dog soaking up all the love.  If you’re looking for a calm, loving, loyal friend who will stand by your side through life’s quiet moments, Nyla is waiting to meet you.
