My story

Meet Camilla! Camilla is a lovable 11-pound Chihuahua mix with a heart full of gratitude and sweetness. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, cats, and children, and she’s happiest when she’s being cuddled and loved on. Camilla is crate trained and does well with pottying outside. She needs to be let out to go potty often, but with proper supervision she is perfect. She's also a wonderful companion to other dogs—playful, gentle, and easygoing. Originally from the streets of Mexico, Camilla likely spent many years fending for herself and raising litters of puppies. But those days are behind her now, and she’s discovering the joys of indoor life for the very first time—soft couches, warm beds, and chew bones that bring her endless delight. Despite everything she’s been through, Camilla is patient, kind, and resilient. She has the heart of a survivor and the spirit of a dog who is finally learning how good life can be. She enjoys a daily walk and is great on leash—though she prefers to take her time, sniff the flowers, and soak it all in. Her exact age is unknown, but her experienced foster mom (who’s cared for over 15 Chihuahuas) estimates she’s around 7 years old. She’s in great health and has many happy years ahead. Camilla would thrive in a loving home with someone who wants a calm, cuddly & devoted companion. Could she spend her golden years with you?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Camilla, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
