My story

Animal Profile:  Meet Glory! In  late April, we were contacted about a mama Shepherd who had just given birth to 10 tiny puppies in a rural Texas shelter. Unfortunately 2 did not make it. This sweet family was out of time and facing euthanasia. A concrete shelter floor is no place to raise babies. Thankfully, our incredible rescue partner Saving Shelter Strays stepped in and gave them the second chance they so desperately needed. They've spent the past few weeks in a loving TX foster home and are healthy and thriving. They are ready for their bus ride to WA! Foster Update: Glory is a very sweet, cuddly pup. She has typical puppy energy and is very curious. Based on the size of her feet, she's going to be a pretty big girl. She loves to run around and play and then snuggle in for a nap. She loves all people and gets along with other dogs who can handle her energy. She is coming along with house training and after a few minutes, settles in well to the crate.  Due to breed and potential size we are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard, breed experience a plus. We are not considering apartments at this time.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization.
