My story

Leonidas was found all alone as a small kitten with a terribly infected eye. We took him in and while he had ups and downs with eye issues, stomach issues and upper respiratory issues he has finally got to where he is ready for a home. He loves others cats and he loves people. He finds cat pals around the shelter to entertain us with a good old fashioned wrasslin' match. Then he will settle down and wait until someone has time out of their volunteer work to give him some pets. You know what Snoopy Leonidas really wants -- he wants his own home where he can always count on his family to come and give him the love he wants and he promises to give lots of love right back. His eye is still cloudy from the terrible infection, but it does not interfere with anything he wants to do. Also, Snoopy probably has Herpes Infection (please read up on this), which means he may suffer more Upper Respiratory infections that other cats. However, once he is able to get out of the shelter where he is not around 100 other cats, they will probably be fewer and far between. We really hope that will happen for him. He doesn't deserve to not get a home because of his snot.Would you like to meet this handsome boy? See what he really looks like instead of what he looks like trying to avoid having his picture taken. Every household needs a lucky black cat and he could be yours. Let us know when you want to meet him and we will get it set up!!!His adoption fee is $75. He is fully vetted -- neutered, vaccinated, ,combo tested and microchip.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Snoopy Leonidas, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
