My story

Name: Walker Age: adult  (Born 11/16/2023) Breed: Coton de Tulear Gender: Male Arrival Date: 07/30/2024 Meet Walker! Introducing Walker, our adorable Coton de Tulear  who joined our shelter on July 30, 2024. He was adopted and then resurrendered due to some family issues. Born on November 16, 2023, Walker is a very sweet and playful pup looking for his forever home. Walker was an owner surrender due to finacial reasons for his medical needs. Walker was diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus that is caused by excessive thirst and frequent urination. This has been well controlled after some treatment with the use of drops that go into his eyes twice daily. Although he does have these medical isssues, Walker will live out his days happy and will bring happiness to someone for many years.  Sweet and Playful Walker is incredibly sweet and playful. His outgoing personality and joyful spirit make him a delightful companion who loves to have fun. Whether it's playing with toys or exploring new surroundings, Walker brings endless joy. Good with Dogs and Cats Walker gets along well with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats. His friendly and sociable nature ensures he'll fit well into a household with multiple pets, providing lots of companionship. Happy-Go-Lucky Walker is a happy-go-lucky pup whose cheerful demeanor makes him a joy to be around. His positivity and zest for life are infectious, and he’s sure to bring plenty of smiles and laughter to his new family. Health and Care Walker is up to date on all his vaccinations and has been neutered to ensure his continued health. While he has a couple of medical needs that we are currently looking into, he remains a happy and thriving pup under our dedicated care. House and Crate Trained Walker is both house trained and crate trained, making the transition to his new home smooth and hassle-free. His good habits and training are significant advantages for his future family.
