Monty

My story

Monty is a sweet old fella, around 10 years old, deparately seeking someone who will love him for who he is! He was dumped at Olmos Park in San Antonio and was found cowering under a truck.  He is a spunky little guy though!  He likes things nice and calm, if any of the other dogs get too frisky, he gives them a stern talking to!  He is not a fan of the puppies and stays as far away from them as he can.  He loves running around outside & naps in the sun.  He is Kennel trained, gets along with other dogs as long as they respect his space and he is good around kids but they need to be gentle with him so older kids are better.   He came to us with sever dental rot and tumors in his jaw and mouth.  He is partially blind in one eye and has a fatty mass on his side.   He had 30 teeth pulled and since that surgery, the tumers have mostly gone away - the vet thinks they were mostly from the infection.  He does fine with one good eye but he doesn't like to be surprised.  The vet says the tumor on his side is benign & as long as it doesnt change size or shape, or starts to bother him, then just leave it alone.   https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57447/generic ##2433621##
