My story

Hi there, I’m Half Baked! Yeah, I know… it’s a bit of a silly name. Someone at the rescue thought it’d be fun to give all of us ice cream-inspired names for the summer. I don’t mind it—it’s kinda fun! But deep down, I can’t wait to have my forever name… the one I’ll hear when you call me home. I came into rescue with my siblings after Animal Control picked us up. We were in rough shape—skinny, scared, and in desperate need of help. Lucky Paws Rescue swooped in, wrapped us up in love, and gave us a second chance. Every single day, I get a little braver, a little stronger, and a lot more cuddly. I’m still a little shy, but here’s my secret: if I quietly crawl up next to my foster mom, I get the best ear rubs and kisses ever. I'm learning that being a mama’s boy isn’t such a bad gig—especially when belly rubs are involved. I’d love to be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, your loyal little sidekick.
