My story

***Currently located in Guerrero, Mexico*** Hi, I’m Patch — and let me tell you, I’m so ready for my fresh start! My best friend Linda and I were found at the bottom of a hill in Mexico, hungry, exhausted, and covered in ticks. We were feeling pretty defeated, but even then, something inside me said, “Hang in there, buddy.” And then, just like that — kind humans appeared. They gave us food, gently removed all those nasty ticks, and most importantly, showed us love. It was the first time in a long while I felt safe… and I made sure to show them just how thankful I was with lots of tail wags and kisses. Since then, I’ve been on the mend — both inside and out. While getting checked out, the vets found a few extra things that needed healing, but no worries — I’ve been getting all the care I need, and I’m bouncing back stronger every day! My body’s still catching up, but my heart? Oh, it’s FULL of love and my tail hasn’t stopped wagging. I may have been through a rough patch (get it? ), but I’ve stayed positive through it all. I’m a happy, affectionate boy who’s always ready for a cuddle, a snack, or a walk with my people. I love making new friends, and I’ve got a gentle, loyal soul that just wants to belong.
