My story

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! From the foster: Chessy has a big heart the size of her ears. She loves to play (she is very good at playing fetch), but settles down at night to cuddle. She knows how to sit and come and she is working on her potty training. Chessy is timid at first (it takes her a few hours to warm up to you) but when you gain her trust (with lots of treats) she is a ball of joy! She is a very loyal dog once she falls in love with you. P.S. she loves tummy rubs! **I would do best in a home with at least one other dog, and/or someone who works from home. In the time after my littermate was adopted I began to get anxious when I was left alone for longer periods, and once managed to get out of my wire crate, indicating stress. When another dog was in the home, I didn't display these concerns.** www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

If you have any questions or would like to adopt 422 (2025), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
