My story

The state of Tennessee is known for its vibrant and historic music scene, the stunning Great Smoky Mountain range and iconic southern cuisine- let’s talk whiskey, barbeque ribs and hot wings! According to her volunteer friends, our PACC dog named Tennessee is known for her gentle, easygoing, tender nature and sweet, sweet kisses! Here’s what some of her volunteer friends have said:“Sweet baby Tennessee is one of my very favorite girls in the shelter. She is the epitome of gentleness; a sweet and mellow pup! She has blossomed into the most tender darling. When she first came to the shelter, she was very unsure. The first time I met her she was huddled in the corner of a play yard and was completely shut down. She quickly learned that the people at the shelter would only treat her kindly and she began to show us her amazing, sweet personality! She is a girl who will be content to sit by your side. She doesn`t need long walks or rigorous play, she just wants with all of her being to be loved! I adore her and I sure hope that she will find a forever family who will treat her with the love, kindness and devotion that she deserves!” “Tennessee is so sweet! She`s hesitant in the beginning, but after a few meetings, she gives the cutest tail wags and nose wrinkles. In a yard she just wants to sit next to the handler and get petted. What a darling girl!”Tennessee shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been social, tolerant and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Tennessee may not catch your eye, as she will likely be snoozing in her kennel when you walk by, but if you take the time to meet her, you will NOT regret it! This cutie pie is waiting patiently to capture the hearts of her furever family. Are you ready?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt TENNESSEE*, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
