My story

** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Goldie is about 2 yrs old and weighs about 12 lbs. She was brought to the shelter after her female owner passed away. She only lived with this owner so did not meet alot of people. She is fearful of strangers but does warm up especially with a social male dog in the home to show her the person is ok. She is playful and energetic. She was a housedog and was only outside to play or pottie. She was allowed to sleep in the owners bed. She was housebroken in the home. She walks on leash well. She is afraid of loud noises such as thunder and fireworks. She is not found of the vacuum cleaner. She is afraid of loud children so would do best with teenagers and older. She does bark at strangers when they come to the home and will just stick close to her owner. She loves to play with other dogs and was surrendered with Chewy. She would do best with other social dog in the home if not placed with Chewy. She liked to chase/attack the outside cats, so should be placed in a home without cats. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle Goldie into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed.
