Titan Haochi A17565561 lb. neutered male, approx 3 years old -Walks nicely on leash but doorways make him hesitate-Outside he was happy to explore the yard checking in occasionally for a quick sniff-He seems to be a potty holder-I sat on the ground and he came to investigate. I started giving him pets and he seemed to enjoy it but was very awkward about it at first. He would put his face and shoulder into my leg or the ground and his butt would be in the air. He couldn’t quite figure out how to completely relax or roll over for belly rubs. He’s a hoot!-He did finally have one moment where he gave me his belly finally-He loves his butt scratched and he will contort like a pretzel for it-No interest in playing with toys at the moment-He’s a good mix of energy and snuggle buddy! And a good mix of attention seeking and independent.-He’s also content to be on his own when needed-He likes treats, sits and takes them nicely. He can also catch them.-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Titan Haochi, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
