My story

Lottie is a gentle soul with a heart full of love, just waiting for the right family to help her blossom. Recently brought in with two of her friends, this beautiful girl is still adjusting to the big, wide world—but with a little patience (and a lot of treats), she’s already starting to come out of her shell.Lottie is the ultimate homebody. She prefers quiet environments where she can nap, lounge, and soak up cuddles. She knows “sit,” rides well in the car, and is very food-motivated—making her a great candidate for continued confidence-building and positive reinforcement training.She’s friendly with other animals (including cats!), and when she sees people she knows, her whole body lights up—expect some serious butt wags and tail swooshes!Lottie is dreaming of a calm home with a yard where she can feel safe and loved. If you`re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little encouragement to shine, Lottie might be your perfect match.The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! We appreciate your understanding and patience. **HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal’s location.From the Dog Kennels/Dog Isolation/Dog Quarantine (in shelter): To meet this dog, please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 – 5 pm one of on one of our open days, no appointment needed. We are open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We are closed for adoptions on Monday and all holidays.From Foster Care (out of shelter):1. Copy and paste the adoption survey link into a new tab on your browser: https://www.seattle.gov/documents/Departments/AnimalShelter/Dog%20Adoption%20Questionnaire_Fillable.pdf2. Download and complete the dog survey.3. Save the survey to your device with a new file name that includes your last name. Make sure it`s filled in when opened again.4.
