My story

Meet Checkers! He’s a quirky and lovable one-year-old, 9-pound mixed breed cutie. This sweet guy is a playful, affectionate little pup who wins everyone over with his happy go lucky personality. Checkers can be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, his sweet personality starts to shine. He loves hanging out with his people and has even made a few feline friends in his foster home. Checkers is still working on potty training and and he's making progress with a patient routine. He has caught on quickly to crate training and settles overnight and when left alone! On leash, he’s curious a curious guy who loves to explore and is making progress on leash training. Checkers will thrive in a variety of homes, but you'd win bonus points if you have a doggy companion for him to romp and play with!!
