My story

Meet GoldieHe is a feisty little senior with a big personality and a heart ready to heal. Goldie is currently recovering from skin issues caused by fleas, but he's already showing signs of feeling better and brighter.Goldie isn't your typical lap dog-he prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and isn't a fan of being picked up. He does best with someone who will respect his boundaries and let him warm up on his own time. He can be a little spicy (we prefer "selectively affectionate"), but with patience and understanding, he'll show you his softer side.Goldie would do best as the only dog in the home and isn't a fit for households with young children. He's looking for a calm, loving environment where he can spend his golden years living life on his terms-comfortable, safe, and loved.
