My story

Meet Stanley – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Forever Home. Stanley is a shy, sweet gentleman who’s ready to start the next chapter of his life—with a little help from a loving, patient family. This 3 to 4-year-old Chi/pug mix is fully vaccinated, crate-trained, and potty-trained. He’s got wonderful manners and a calm presence, but he’s a bit reserved at first and needs time to feel safe and secure in new surroundings. Once he knows you’re one of the good ones, Stanley’s gentle affection begins to shine. He gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a quieter home with older kids who understand the beauty of earning a shy dog’s trust. Stanley has tested heartworm positive, but he’s already started treatment, and we will cover all associated costs. All he needs from you is a safe space to heal and a heart open to a slower, more thoughtful bond.
