My story

Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue CHARMING AND CONFIDENT Meow! My name is Meo. My estimated date of birth is 4/27/2024. I am a very charismatic and confident boy with a big personality! Once I gain your trust, I like to be petted and may let you hold me. Sometimes, I'll even give you gentle love bites! I am very playful and love to play with my toys. I am curious and goofy. I am VERY food-motivated. Despite my confident nature, sometimes I feel like a kitten again and will suckle on my blanket, making "biscuits" on it. I am a lover of anything soft--blankets, beds, and any other biscuit-making material for me to knead and nurse on. I have a uniquely large stature that represents how I would love to be the boss of my forever home! I will accept nothing but the best: I'll only settle for a very special person. But once I choose you, I will be the most loyal boy and will love you with my whole heart (and mouth when offered snacks)! I can get overstimulated and will need my own space at times, so I'll need an adopter who is able to understand and respect this. I am not good with other cats, dogs, or children--I prefer to be the only king of my kingdom. I am at the Kitty Corner, waiting for my right person!Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
