My story

*We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, July 5th. We are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applicants this week. Happy 4th of July!* Laney is a zen, loyal velcro dog whose tail is always wagging. She’s happiest when curled up on her person—and would love nothing more than to stay that way 24/7. While she’s done well in foster care alongside dogs, cats, and kids, she would truly thrive as your one and only. Laney has completely bonded with her foster mom and is now searching for the next great love of her life. Her other great loves? Food (she’s not picky) and long, lazy sunbathing sessions. A fenced backyard would be the perfect addition to her forever home. Laney is potty trained, uses a doggy door, and sleeps soundly through the night nestled against her human. She’s as devoted as they come—and ready to pour all her love into the lucky person who brings her home. Laney is a 2-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Laney is also tested with other dogs, cats, children, and potty and kennel trained. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
