Ozzy – People are always saying, “Orange cats are lovers!” Well, it is true. At least for Ozzy it is. He is surely a lover and an easy-going kind of fellow. He enjoys the company of people and loves to be petted. When there is no one around, he enjoys spending his afternoons outside on the screen in area where he can watch everything that is going on around him. FIV in cats is similar to HIV (the human immunodeficiency virus) and causes a feline disease that is similar to AIDS in humans.  Although FIV is similar to AIDS in humans it is a highly species-specific virus that infects only felines. While there is currently no definitive cure for FIV in felines, with proper care there is no reason a cat infected with FIV cannot live a very normal, healthy life for many years -- if managed appropriately.  June 18, 2025, 2:30 pm
