Missy is a 4-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog with a petite frame, weighing in around 80 lbs. She's still adjusting to life in her foster home, and while her full personality hasn’t bloomed just yet, she finds comfort in resting quietly in her crate in the living room. Missy is learning the ropes—she’s tackling the stairs and hasn’t had a single accident in the house! She’s still nervous about the outside world, so her ideal home would include: A secure, fenced-in yard A patient and understanding adopter Another confident dog to help her continue building trust Missy is more timid than the Berner she came into rescue with, but we suspect she’ll have a bit more energy as she settles in. She’ll likely be a moderately active companion once she feels safe. And bonus—she completely ignores cats! Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. To apply to adopt from Just Giants Rescue fill out an online application with the $25 application donation. All approved applications are good for 12 months. Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters. All dogs adopted from Just Giants Rescue are up to date on vaccines (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Some exceptions may apply. All adoption fees are non-refundable; Just Giants is a NFP 501(c)3 organization. Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters. Transportation from the foster home to the adopter is the responsibility of the adopter to coordinate. Just Giants does not adopt outside of the continental US.
