My story

COURTESY POST - ELDERLY NO LONGER ABLE TO CARE FOR Nya is more independent and reserved. She is curious but cautious with new people. She is very owner-oriented (or, to be frank, oriented towards whoever is feeding her regularly). She is calm and will accept pets once she gets to know you. She will snuggle in bed and purr with her owner. Nya is not very playful, more observant. If there are a lot of new or loud people in her space at once she will often hide and may hiss if she perceives someone as a threat to her or her owner. Both have been spayed and chipped and lived as indoor cats all their lives. Neither cat has ever had any health issues. They get along very well together and we believe they will adjust to a new owner/family very quickly.
