My story

Hi there! My name is Edith, or maybe Daisy, which is what my foster mom calls me because I’m sweet, I’m girlie, and even though I’m shy at first, with a little time and affection I open up just like a flower. Also, I’m a very pretty girl, obviously. I may have had a rough start—my past is a bit of a mystery. I was brought in as a stray and who knows if I’ve ever had a proper home before. Here’s what else we know about me. I am a gentle soul, I love treats and pets, and I have a heart full of love to give. I am working on the “always pee outside” part of being a dog with a home, but I’ve successfully mastered pooping outside. I only bark if there is a really good reason to (like if my foster brother is barking or I need to be let out of my crate in the morning—otherwise my crate is my safe space). My foster brother is bossy and sometimes grumpy, but I’m not interested in challenging him – I’ll just get out of the way if that’s how he wants it. I’m happy having other dogs to play with or chillax with. We don’t know for sure, but we think I would probably be great with kids as well – foster mom has not seen even the tiniest sign of aggression from me, and that would just be more people to love! Let me tell you a little about myself: 🐶 I’m dog-friendly 🚶‍♀️ I am doing great walking on a leash. I would make an awesome hiking buddy, but I’m pretty chill if I don’t get an outing and am just hanging in the yard. 🚗I’m kind of scared to get into a car, but once I’m inside, I’m an excellent little passenger. 🎯I’m kind of the perfect size. Not too big, not too small. Just right! 🧡 I’ve got a playful spirit, a sweet soul, and I can hardly wait for my furever home!
