My story

Meet Sterling.. Rare breed and quite a beauty... Sterling was pulled from a Wisconsin puppy mill. We were told the mill just started breeding this breed and they do not have the contacts with pet stores who may want this breed. Sterling is a 10 week old male Alaskan Klee Kai. This breed is not a common breed, some actually consider this breed pretty rare, especially in rescue. Alaskan Klee Kais are small breed Huskies. They are small, they love to talk and argue with you, they are stubborn and hard to train. Some also say they are escape artists so a fully fenced yard and secure yard is important. This is a full shedding breed. Sterling is very petite right now, currently weighing around 4 pounds. We estimate his full growth weight to be around 12 - 14 pounds. He has 1 bright blue eye and one brown eye. He will be absolutely stunning as an adult. Sterling loves to talk, he howls for attention and is not a fan of being alone or confined. He loves being held and hanging with his family. We are looking for a family that is home more than not, have a fenced yard, and experience with tougher breeds. Sterling will need training. Once you understand the needs of a Klee Kai, the bond that this pup will have with you or with your family is unbreakable. This breed is a fantastic breed, but it does take some work to get there. We suggest doing your research before applying. He loves other dogs and is very social. Using a wee wee pad and the outdoors for potty training. Being fostered in Butler NJ Send an email to Onepawatatimerescue@gmail.com and request an application ** Thats the only way to get an application Adoption fee is $750 Cash is preferred but Zelle and Venmo are also accepted We adopt in the Tri State Area ONLY NY, NJ, PA, CT, DE, NH, MA, ME, DC, VT, RI,
